OHME is a Seattle jeweller that makes adventurous pieces featuring bold shapes. Founded in 2014, they built up a fan base and a number of stockists. When they decided to grow the business, they needed branding that encompassed their character while still remaining subdued enough for their jewellery to shine through.
Their work is built on the idea that self-expression can be a radical act, particularly for marginalised people. Confident personal style is a way of reclaiming space and celebrating diverse identities. Inspired by the arts and crafts movement, their pieces feature simplified versions of this era’s ornate shapes.
Emily created custom typography for their logo and illustrations that echo the shapes in their work. The overall feeling is optimistic and whimsical, yet polished.
